Chapter Matching Funds

The Scholarship and Support Committee of the Educational Foundation offers chapters the opportunity to award their own scholarships through the Matching Funds Program.  Chapters can submit funds, up to a pre-determined amount, that will be matched by the Educational Foundation.  The combined total amount is then returned to the chapter to be used for scholarships to students and/or financial support to local college and university accounting programs.

Ben W. Brannon Memorial Scholarship

The Educational Foundation is pleased to announce that the trustees of The Livingston Foundation, Inc. are awarding a grant to the Georgia Society of CPAs Educational Foundation to establish the Ben W. Brannon Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Ben W. Brannon was president of the Georgia Society of CPAs (1956-57) and president of the Educational Foundation (1963-64).  He was managing partner of Windham Brannon Cashin & Duval, an Atlanta public accounting firm, from 1957-1980.  The firm became Windham Brannon & Company in 1980.

Mr. Brannon's dedication to the Society and to the profession will continue to be recognized and honored through this generous gift.
