Leadership Academy
The Georgia Society of CPAs is proud to present the Leadership Academy. This program positions participants to accept responsibility as business and organization leaders through improved critical thinking, enhanced communication, and fostering team-building skills.
The Leadership Academy will motivate employees to apply skills learned to their company, organization, and personal life. Participants will learn to develop high-performance teams that get results because they know how to lead a team - not just manage it. Following the four-session program, the graduating class will be empowered with skills to increase productivity, life morale, and improve quality.
About the Leadership Academy
Application Process to Participate in the Leadership Academy
Participants must be nominated by a fellow GSCPA member or employer to apply for the Leadership Academy Class. All nominees are sent an application directly. Applications must be returned to the Georgia Society of CPAs by June 6, 2008. If you have nominated an individual, please follow up with them to ensure that they have completed and returned their Leadership Academy Application.
In order to select a Leadership Academy class that will represent the diversity in our profession, the Society would like you, our valued members, to nominate at least one person that you think would benefit from the skills learned at the GSCPA Leadership Academy . A selection committee will review the nominations and invite a class of 25 participants; the suggested ages of nominees should generally range from 25 to 45, however consideration will be given to all ages.
To nominate an individual, please complete the nomination form and return it to the GSCPA office no later than May 5, 2008. Please follow up with your nominees by June 1st to ensure that they have completed and returned their application by that date. Please note, participants in the Leadership Academy must be a Fellow member of the GSCPA.
