A peer review is a periodic outside review of a firm's quality control system in accounting and auditing. In order to retain membership in the Georgia Society of CPAs and/or the AICPA, practitioners who are engaged in the practice of public accounting are required to be practicing in firms enrolled in an AICPA approved practice-monitoring program.
