Start Going Places: Explore the CPA Profession

Enhance your classroom presentations and student outreach with the newest student recruitment video brought to you by the AICPA.  This 15 minute video, accompanied by short interview clips (for shorter presentations) is a great way to encourage students to start going places and explore the CPA profession.  This video will introduce viewers to four dynamic CPAs while getting a glimpse into their lives - inside and outside the office - as they visit with an inquisitive student who wants to know what being a CPA is really like.  Learn how CPA's individual choices influenced who they are today, personally and professionally, and encourage students to see for themselves that accounting is about more than just numbers.

Student Membership Applications

Membership in a professional organization is important. Student membership with the GSCPA is a one time fee of $25.  This enables students to take advantage of numerous networking opportunities, discounts on Becker, Bisk, ExamMatrix, Kaplan Schweser, Lambers, Roger CPA, and Yaeger Review Courses, and keeps students up-to-date with changes in the accounting profession.  Don't forget to contact the society office for student membership applications to distribute to your college classrooms.
