This position is based in Atlanta, Georgia with association leadership responsibilities for the entire state of Georgia. | ||
| Responsibilities: | The ideal candidate will have significant experience in professional relationship management, and will be responsible for working closely in a wide variety of capacities with the GSCPA Board of Directors, GSCPA staff, GSCPA member volunteers and various third parties. The GSCPA has developed initiatives geared toward deploying innovative technology, and the successful candidate will embrace this initiative and assure continued progress. Responsibilities include functioning as an advocate for the CPA profession, and working with the media to promote profession causes. Additionally, working with legislators and legislative issues related to members, State Board of Accountancy, and various third parties will be required. The successful candidate will be responsible for GSCPA strategic plan oversight, will manage GSCPA staff and interact with a wide variety of members. Why is This a Great Opportunity?
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS Mandatory minimum qualifications: Successful candidate must have proven results in initiating and executing strategic initiatives developed by candidate and/or by the Board of Directors. A solid history of change management, problem solving, effective communication with a broad range of professionals including Board of Directors, internal staff, volunteers, members, and third parties.
